When a DCR is released, Rollout Tasks are assigned to people responsible for determining what kind of training is required on a change request and Change/Deviation Requests are released, Grand Avenue generates a Roll Out Documents task for each department that is responsible for assuring that the associated training is completed. The rollout tasks are created based on the types of documents included in a Change/Deviation Request and the Affected Departments defined for those document types.

The affected departments are determined by the system’s Document Type definitions (Configure Document Control → Configure Document Types).
