When a Change/Deviation Request is released, Rollout Tasks are assigned to the departments responsible for determining how the training should be delivered and ensuring that it is completed.The Requests are released, Grand Avenue generates a Roll Out Documents task for each department that is responsible for assuring that the associated training is completed. The rollout tasks are created based on the types of documents included in a Change/Deviation Request and the “Affected By” departments in those Affected Departments defined for those document types.

The affected departments are determined by the system’s Document Type definitions (Configure Document Control → Configure Document Types) determine which departments are assigned rollout tasks for a Change/Deviation Request.
