Document Control Module Administrators may batch export Documents, Change Requests, and Deviation Requests to a directory on the Grand Avenue web server.

Export Documents

Document Control Module Administrators may batch export Documents to a directory on the Grand Avenue web server.

Prerequisites

  • Grand Avenue release 15.6 or later

  • Click Configure Document Control > Configure Document Control Process Options and set “Enable Export of Documents?” to Yes.

Export Instructions

  • Click “Manage Documents” in the navigation menu

  • Click “Export Documents”

  • Use search criteria to specify which document revisions should be exported

  • Click the “Search” button

  • Click “Export Results to Server”

  • Click the “Export Documents to Server” button and wait for the message “Documents exported to <file-name> on the web server.”

  • Access the server location via FTP to download the files that were exported

    • Note: Customers with installations hosted by Grand Avenue should contact support@grandavenue.com to request instructions for accessing their private FTP site.
