Customers have asked whether Grand Avenue can insert a watermark, timestamp, or other text into document files to indicate that the document has been released and, potentially, downloaded from an electronic document control system.

No. By design, the Grand Avenue application has no ability to modify the contents of document files that are added to the system. Each file added to Grand Avenue is stored as a binary image in the database and always retrieved as an exact copy of the original to ensure no corruption or loss of information.
