How do I order the deliverables in a Design Control Checklist?

By default, the deliverables in a Design Project phase are displayed alphabetically by Deliverable Name. If you want to control the order in which deliverables are displayed, they need to be numbered. However, when numbering deliverables, you might come across the following behavior:

The Deliverable Name field is a text field rather than a numerical field. When sorting numbers as text, the order is 1, 10, 11…19, 2, 20… To make text fields sort numerically, add leading zeros until all numbers to be sorted have the same number of characters.
