When a piece of equipment is associated with a floating activity schedule, Grand Avenue immediately generates an incomplete activity record for that activity on the selected piece of equipment. The following are examples of situations where an initial incomplete activity record is generated:

When the system creates this initial activity record for the floating schedule, it starts with a default Activity Due Date in the future, even though you may be using this record to document a previously completed activity.
