What are the options for configuring two-factor authentication in Grand Avenue?

The Grand Avenue 15.2 release introduced new system configuration settings related to enabling two-factor authentication. To use two-factor authentication, it must be enabled at both the Grand Avenue system level and by individual users.

Two-factor authentication on user accounts is not allowed

Two-factor authentication on user accounts is optional.

This is the default setting.

Use of two-factor authentication on user accounts is mandatory.

User Level Configuration

  1. Go to the User Profile Menu and select Change Two-Factor Authentication

     

  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication

     

  3. Use an authenticator application to scan the QR code or enter the text key.

     

  4. Enter the verification code generated by the authenticator application and click “Verify.”
