  1. Create a plain text, Microsoft Office, or PDF file that contains known keywords.

  2. Go to Configure System > Configure Full-Text Search.

  3. Click Add Test File.

  4. Choose the test file you created above.

  5. Click Save to upload the test file.

  6. Click Search for Test Files.

  7. Enter a keyword from the test file in the File Content field and click Search. Verify that the correct file is returned in the search results.

    Also try searching for a keyword not in the test file to make sure that fails.
