How are users notified about incomplete training?

Users see incomplete training tasks in My Tasks when training is assigned to them to complete.

Email Notifications

All incomplete tasks, including incomplete training, are included in users' daily task summary notifications based on the value of the configuration setting Configure System > Configure Task Summary Notifications.

In the example above, users see incomplete training in their daily task summary notifications beginning 3 days before it becomes overdue.

Department Managers

Department managers see training task alerts for employees in departments they manage. The task alerts are on department managers' My Tasks pages and in their daily task summary notifications. An example of a department manager training task alert is shown below.

The timing of training task alerts is controlled by a different configuration setting at Configure Training > Configure Training Task Alerts.

For managers to always see task alerts when their employees have incomplete training, set Incomplete Training - Department Manager to "When Applicable.”
