How do I enable (turn on) or disable modules in my Grand Avenue Software configuration?

If you are already a Grand Avenue Software customer, see below for instructions on the following topics:

Only licensed modules may be activated in Production instances of Grand Avenue.

Any modules may be activated for evaluation purposes in non-Production (test) instances of Grand Avenue. For hosted customers, non-Production instances include your Upgrade Testing, Training, and Evaluation instances.

Step-by-step Instructions

Add Modules to a License Agreement

  1. If you need a quote, contact info@grandavenue.com and provide the module name(s) and the current total number of employees in your organization.

  2. When you’re ready to purchase, contact info@grandavenue.com to confirm which module(s) you want to add and the current total number of employees in your organization.

  3. Grand Avenue will send an order form to amend your license agreement.

  4. Sign and date the order form and return it to info@grandavenue.com. Grand Avenue will then sign and date the order form and return an electronic copy to you.

Activate Modules

Users must have the System Administrator role to enable additional module(s).

a. Click Configure System

b. Click Activate/Deactivate Modules (towards the bottom of the page)

c. Click the Activate Module button next to each module you want to enable

d. Click Close to return to the “Configure System” page

 

e. Click Manage System Role Assignments (last link on the page)

 

f. Assign the Module Administrator role for the newly activated module to the necessary user(s).

If the user is listed in the “Assigned Users” table, click Edit for that user. Then change the applicable Module Administrator dropdown to “Yes” and click Save Assignments.

If the user is not listed in the “Assigned Users” table, click Assign Roles for User. Select the appropriate user, change the applicable Module Administrator dropdown to “Yes”, and click Save Assignments.

 


Remove Modules from a License Agreement

  1. Contact info@grandavenue.com to notify Grand Avenue of the module(s) you want to remove from your licensed configuration.

  2. Grand Avenue will send an order form to amend your license agreement.

  3. Sign and date the order form and return it to info@grandavenue.com. Grand Avenue will then sign and date the order form and return an electronic copy to you.

Deactivate Modules

Users must have the System Administrator role to disable module(s).

a. Click Configure System

b. Click Activate/Deactivate Modules (towards the bottom of the page)

c. Click the Deactivate Module button next to each module you want to disable
