Why does the training due date for a document align with the document effectivity date and not the default number of days for a task assignment?
When a Document Control Coordinator is releasing a DCR that creates incomplete training, they set the Training Required-by Date. The default value for that field is the earliest Effective Date of any of the documents being released by the DCR. This is to ensure that users are trained before the documents become effective. However, the Document Control Coordinator still has the option to set that date to anything else based on internal requirements.
