When a document is revised, can incomplete training records on superseded revisions be deleted or withdrawn?

No, it is by design that users with a document as a training requirement receive training on every revision without regard to how much time has passed since the previous revision was released or if a subsequent revision has been released. If training on previous revisions isn’t complete before the next document revision is released, that doesn’t excuse the person from training on the previous revisions, especially since DCR training is focused on the changes from one revision to another versus training on the whole document for every DCR.

As an alternative, we added the ability to close a training record without the previous assumption that the training completed successfully. Beginning at Grand Avenue 15.1, incomplete training records can be closed with a Training Type that indicates a record should not be considered when determining whether the user satisfies a training requirement. If your company policy allows employees to skip incomplete training on intermediate revisions, those training records can be manually signed off as “User Not Trained” with a justification for not performing the training.
