How do I export a list of users from Grand Avenue?
The following article applies only to Grand Avenue 16.1 and prior releases. Beginning at Grand Avenue 16.2, a list of users can be exported directly from the search results at Search/Chart → Search for Users.
Instructions for Grand Avenue 16.1 and Prior Releases:
There are two options to generate a list of users for exporting out of the Grand Avenue system. The reports are available to System Administrators and users with the Account Management role assignment.
Example Reports | Search Criteria Setting |
---|---|
All active users | Set the Is User Active? field to Yes |
All active users in a specific department | Set the Is User Active? field to Yes Set the Department field to the applicable department |
All active users with access to a certain module | Must use the Manage User Module Access Rights Set the Is User Active? field to Yes Set the applicable module field to Yes Note: there are two options of the CAPA module - submit access and view access |
All inactive users | Set the Is User Active? field to No |
Depending on the number of users in your system, you may need to update or blank out the Max # of Items to Display field in order to show all users.
Report Options
Administrative Actions -> Manage Users -> Manage User Module Access Rights
This will provide user name/ID, department, active status, and user access rights for each module.
Administrative Actions -> Manage Users -> View User Responsibility Reports
This will provide user name/ID, department, active status, and a summary of the user’s assigned responsibilities within the system for each module.
